   As per my recent post, I agree wit...</title><content type='html'>Gentlemen, &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;   As per my recent post, I agree with David Pauly, except that my concerns are not with management and restructuring following the putative acquisition of Chrylser and OPEL but with labour relations.  Workers on the automobile assembly line in the US, Canada, and in some parts of Europe earn aberrant wages in relation to their skill level; the situation defies basic economic principles.  In addition, health care costs in the US for such workers have gauged profits, money that is/was desperately needed for new product development.
